PRACTICE AREAS
Adam ably represents developers of residential and mixed-use projects in New York City before the New York State Attorney General’s Office in the preparation of market-rate and affordable condominium and cooperative offering plans, amendments to offering plans, declarations of condominium, and requests for “no-action” letters. He has worked on offering plans and condominium declarations for ground-up construction projects, vacant rehabilitated buildings, ground leased buildings, and the conversion of tenanted buildings from rental status to condominium status. He co-authored New York State’s first offering plan for the sale of apartments that were constructed pursuant to New York City’s Inclusionary Housing Program. He also applied for, and received, the first consent from the New York State Attorney General’s Office to partially convert a mixed-income occupied rental building to for-sale condominium units. Adam also supervises associates and paralegals in all facets of contract negotiations and closings.
